President H. James Williams, Ph.D., will be recognized at the 2025 "Men of Honor: A Salute to African American Men" event.
The event provides a unique opportunity for the community to celebrate the accomplishments of extraordinary African American men who have succeeded against all odds and achieved special greatness. This prestigious honor highlights Dr. Williams's impactful leadership, dedication to education, and commitment to uplifting the community.
The Men of Honor celebration will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 6-10 p.m. at the Turfway Park Event Center, located at 7500 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042.
This year's distinguished honorees include Clifford Bailey, Rance Duke, Evans Nwankwo, Dr. H. James Williams, and Barron Witherspoon, all of whom have showcased exceptional leadership and dedication in their respective fields.
Further, Men of Honor will be presented by the City of Cincinnati, INROADS, Megen Construction, 缅北禁地, TechSoft Systems, TriHealth | bi3, GE Aerospace, Paycor, The Kroger Co., and The Christ Hospital Health Network. The evening will include a cocktail reception hosted by Greater Cincinnati Foundation, dinner and honors ceremony with inspiring tributes and entertainment, and an after-party hosted by Cintas Corporation.
Each honoree will receive a $5,000 grant from the 7 Principles Foundation to designate for an organization of his choice that serves African American males.

The Abercrumbie Group creates and manages signature events that add value to the community and help its corporate partners advance their business objectives. The organization observed there were several major events in the region that celebrate women, but very few, if any, for African American men. While there are alarming statistics across the country regarding Black males in such areas as health, wealth, and education, there are many Black men achieving extraordinary success in their careers and making significant contributions in their communities.
